All need to be taken off my dead money as per my conversations last month with Philly. The way the rule was worded at the time absolves me of any cost.

Has a rule changed since that time?

No rule has changed. If Philly wants to do this it's on him since I don't agree and he's the commish anyways

All 3 of these players were on TC, so I'm not even sure what the confusion is. Only time there is no penalty is if they are on a rookie contract

Well they were added back by you and Philly said the way the rule was worded makes them exempt because it was very vague. No one else will be in the future. I have proof of our convo. Consider these clemency. They were released on the premise of a poorly worded rule.

Ahem...
Teams may waive players from the minors. If the player has TC, or still on their minor league contract, you pay no penalty for cutting the player

All waived from my minors too. So I'm in the right. Gotta get rid of that TC clause or be more specific.

Interesting. I've never seen that rule before. I will have to pay more attention to where they are being waived from I guess. Will fix docs when I get off work
